This is not our first time sponsoring B2B Online, we sponsored some time back before the pandemic. The reason we rebooked for 2022 is because we found great success with the previous years we sponsored, particularly because the layout is much more tight-knit than other events, so you get a lot of time to network with the attendees and have great conversations.
The delegates on site are perfect for us on paper, in terms of job title and company. It’s been very successful having face-to-face conversations, instead of online like we have done the past couple of years. It’s much easier for people to be engaged now we are back at live events.
The networking breakout sessions have been great, everyone is open and willing to have a conversation during these, so they have worked well. We also attended the canal dinner cruise, which had a great layout to ensure there was a good mix of sponsors and delegates, sat side by side – we definitely had some good conversations during the dinner. It is important to create the opportunity to have conversations in an informal setting, as well as during the conference.
Everyone we have met have been very senior in their company, and even if they are not quite the right person for us, they have referred us to someone else in their team that we can get in touch with. So overall, the quality of delegates that we have met have been good. The organization of everything overall has also been great, everything has run smoothly.
We expect that sponsoring B2B Online will have a positive impact on our 2023 business goals, as the process of our deals are an 8–12-month sales cycle. Essentially our conversations here are the first stage to plant the seed, which we can then follow up after the event. It’s important for us to be able to build connections here at live events for two reasons. One, from a brand perspective to get some recognition, because everything we do is private label. The more that we can promote our brand the better. The second is great alignment with who's here in terms of what we do and who we support. This all builds into the momentum of us working with the connections we make here.
B2B Online is important for TreviPay to sponsor, based off our experience this year it will definitely all have been worthwhile. We are already considering having a look into sponsorship opportunities for next year.
